Welcome!

Hello Friends & Neighbours,

We're rather footloose and fancy free these days, living in our RV, wherever that is parked for the moment. So we are hoping that with this blog we can keep you at least somewhat up-to-date with where we are and what we are up to.

Come back every now and again to catch up on the latest news.

Hay Dave,

I didn't think you knew what a computer was - let alone how to use one. Be sure to drop by whenever you're in the neighborhood, 'cause I'll be missing your smiling face before too long. Rhody xo

Good Morning,

We have a beautiful sunning am in Southern Alberta and off to a Rodeo in Brooks today and off to Lethbridge tomorrow - then Kalispell - Pincher Creek for an art show and Cowboy Gathering. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hi y'all,
Dave here ...finally giving a try at writing a blog. As previously stated we made a quick trip to Kalispell to have some repairs made to some bronzes before the Pincher Creek show. Feeling a bit adventurous on the way back we tried a road I had never travelled. Coming east on the #2 we turned north at East Glacier on a small winding road ...the #49. It is now our most favorite scenic route as on the left were the majestic mountains with deep blue lakes and wide meadows surrounded by tall pine forests. On the right, from our elevated vantage point, we could see stretching to the horizon the rolling foothills that eventually levelled off to the lush green prairie. The last phrase may seem to be an oxymoron to most of you but everywhere we travelled there was evidence of the unusual amount of rain this spring. Arriving in Cardston we took time to visit the Remmington Carriage museum. It was, to my shame, the first time that I was there. Don Remmington was a gentleman first class and as I was also involved with buggies and sleighs, he had invited me to view his collection at his residence before the museum was built. The time we allowed ourselves at the museum was not at all sufficent to do the displays jusice. I recommend the better part of a day if you plan on visiting the site. The poetry gathering at Pincher was as usual at great time. Seeing friends old and new ( and you know who you are) is always a highlight for me. I hesitate to mention names lest some feel slighted( you know you're all special to us) but I must put in a plug for a 14 year old singer and picker from Moscow ID who, if she continues the way she's going will be a household name. We love her dearly and just want to say.."You go Girl" Thanks to all who have viewed our site and have so graciously offered encouragement. Maybe if I'm giving someone a plug I should include her name. She's Shiloh Sherrard and she and her dedicated dad, Preston are travelling farther afield every year as her name gets out there and more people catch her incredible performance. She'll be at the Calgary Stampede this year and is quickly becoming a featured performer. Back to the mundane..the bus is still running with the occasional minor glitch. And how many of you step outside, look at your house and realize it should be washed...again?
Anyway..please stay tuned and thanks for what you mean to us. Hope to see you soon.
